CTG, Inc. currently has an exciting new opportunity for a Cognos Migration professional for a long-term contract position in Corning, NY with a large consumer product manufacturer.
Cognos resource skills include:
* General understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing principles.
* Experience in Business Intelligence reporting environment.
* Experience in OLAP server technology designing data models,metadata, cubes and drill-thru reports
* Cognos experience using Series 7 - Impromptu, PowerPlay, Access Manager
* Cognos experience using Series 8 - Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, Event Studio, Cognos Connection, Framework Manager with data modeling
* Experience in migrating impromptu reports and powerplay models from series Series 7 to series Series 8
* Strong SQL skills
* Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) programming experience
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be open to relocating to Corning, NY
